Too bad it has an FMX trans.

Very nice, very tight. Probably doesn't turn, but who cares? I wonder what he's done for the front end, though - he lists it as a Futura but not a Sprint and he doesn't have V8 badges, so it started life as a six. He's probably gone with a partial Mustang V8 setup swap, later spindles, etc.

The front suspension has been swapped out for something else, probably mustang II given that the stock shock towers are missing.
Shame they put said suspension in the wrong place so the wheel isn't centered in the wheel well like it should be.

So? Nothing wrong with an FMX

Yeah has to be upgraded, I think the stock 6 cylinder suspension would be sagging under the weight of a 351C.
Such badass though

I would light those tires up SO QUICK.

Good call on the Mustang II swap. I saw the brace alteration, but didn't see that the towers were gone-gone. Add in the speaker-housing kick panels and a dozen other things, and there are clearly some points at which funding exceeded sense a little bit.

I was thinking it was something else. For some reason I thought the FMX was a miserable two speed auto. Like a PowerGlide, but worse. My bad.
Edit: That was the Ford-O-Matic FM/2.

Ya the FMX is a 3-speed auto (Kinda like a C6 but less durable)
